We spent our last full day abroad walking Copenhagen. It is a holiday here the Monday after Pentecost, so few shops were open, but these sights are free.

Sheep on Tuesday

This afternoon we visited the farm of two teachers who work here at SVF. It felt more like summer than spring.






Field Trip

Last week we were on a field trip studying the landscape from the West coast of Sweden into Västergötland county.

Jönköping

We are settled in Jönköping until the 18th. Nearby Södra Vätterbygdens Folkhögskola is a beautiful public park with wonderful trees, sheep, alpaka, and peacocks. Spring flowers cover the ground, though leaves are only beginning to peek out. The weather should be lovely this week for more walks.



It grows warm

 Over the next few days I will relate what has happened since my last post. On April 20th, we went exploring in Småland near Växjö. We visited Kosta, a glass blowing factory in Glasriket or the Kingdom of Glass, the ruins of a castle called Kronoberg, and the castle Teleborg.
