Christmas Day at Waxham

Hello all, I just wanted to share some photos of the beach at Waxham, where we visited on Christmas morning. We saw many seals this time! We could get quite close, but had to be careful not to spook the mothers or else they might abandon their babies. They move like worms, it was so amusing to watch, and they leave funny tracks in the sand on the beach with a long body trail in the middle and little prints to the sides. Some looked very black and others were lighter with leopard-like spots. We even saw a couple of pups sleeping in the dunes along the walking path. 'Kindergarten me' was happy, because—remember that assignment everyone gets in kindergarten to imagine your favourite pet? For some reason I really wanted a seal when I was little.
